For a birthday, an anniversary, a holiday or just because
The gift they'd never buy themselves.
Many Life Story books are gifts. A professional interviewer draws out their stories in a few hours of pleasant conversation, and several weeks later, a beautifully written, printed book is in their hands.
Watch their face light up when they realise they don't have to write a single word.

How gifting works: three steps, and the third one is ours.
You buy the book, fill out the questionnaire, and ensure they can join a Zoom video call. From there, we handle everything with them, gently and at their pace.
Buy the book.
Pay in full, or reserve with a $150 deposit. The deposit secures a video call with our team to walk you through the process. The balance is due right after, if you decide to proceed. If not, you will get your deposit back.
Fill out the questionnaire.
Complete the questionnaire with all the relevant information so we can prepare for the first interview. Make sure your loved one has Zoom and can join a video call. We may need your help in coordinating the first interview.
We arrange everything else.
We email them the gift details and a simple way to schedule their first conversation. Later, you review the book, add your edits, upload photos, and approve before we print.
Not sure yet? WhatsApp us. We answer straight away.
An occasion coming up?
These are some occasions that inspired people to buy a Life Story gift. The book takes a few weeks from the first interview, so the only date that matters is the day you start.
Birthday
The stories only they can still tell, in their own words at last.
Father's Day
He says he has everything. He doesn't have this.
Anniversary
Many years of a shared life, kept for the family.
Mother's Day
The one gift she'd never buy herself.
Thanksgiving
A gift everyone will be thankful for.
Pesach
A seder night the family will never forget.
Eid al-Fitr
The family gathers. Their story is the gift that stays.
Eid al-Adha
Honor a life by keeping the story of it.
Christmas
The one gift under the tree the whole family will keep.
Chanukah
Eight nights of light, and a story that outlasts them all.
New Year
A new year is the perfect moment to look back on a life.
Just because
No occasion needed. Some stories shouldn't wait.
Questions gift-givers ask us
Will it spoil the surprise?
No. Nothing the recipient sees shows a price, and we only contact them when you tell us it's time.
How long is the gift valid?
Twelve months from the day you buy it. Enough room to find the right moment, and for a storyteller who needs a little time to come around to the idea.
What if they hesitate and say "who'd want to read about my life?"
Almost every storyteller says something like that at first, and it usually melts within the first half hour. Our interviewers are experienced with reluctant storytellers, and the call feels like a good conversation, not an interview.
What if they don't use WhatsApp?
Then nothing changes for them. We can speak with them over the phone or email instead.
Some gifts get opened once. This one gets read for generations.
Beautifully written. Beautifully printed. Beautifully gifted.
Not ready to decide today?
Tell us the occasion and we'll send one gentle reminder in good time. One note from us, nothing more.
